In this book, Tithing by Douglas Leblanc, it speaks of the importance of giving to God as well as in our daily lives. It's not a book of just teaching but on top of that, it's a book to remind everyone of us. The question is "Are we willing to give rather than to receive?" For in the bible it says, it is more blessed to give than to receive.

Lets see an example from the recent Katrina disaster in the US. Many of us will think that developed countries such as this can handle such cause by itself without help from others. But when we talk about giving, its not about rationality first. Sometimes, we have to put our judgement aside and look deep into our hearts. Are we compassionate to the people who are affected? Are we willing to give because we want to help them? In the book it says, we give so that others may simply live which I think its simple enough for all of us to grasp.

Besides that, many of us are living in a materialistic world where we chase after temporal wealth, status, power and recognition. I always believe that from dust we were made, dust we will return. Therefore our earthly wealth will all be dust or passed on to the next generation. It will not be with us forever. But God says something promising to us as Christians and which makes our Christian lives purposeful. In Matthew 6:20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

This book reveals the essence and importance of giving in our lives today. "So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver" 2 Corinthians 9:7

Well, I'm gonna show you one of the very interesting activities to do in Korea which is skiing. Haha. So part of our tour itinerary, we were brought to this skiing place called YongPyong Ski Resort. So you might be thinking, what would people be doing here. Well, practically they come to ski, enjoy the beautiful snowy scenery and to see one of Winter Sonata highlights because some parts are shot here...Those Winter Sonata fans out there, I guess you know what I mean.

Car Maintenance

During the December holidays my family and I have done some visiting to my uncles and aunties who are staying few hours away from our home. We went there to pay them a visit and at the same time, we did a lot of shopping while we were there. They are staying in a bigger city and hence, there are more mega malls in their city. My sister had the most wonderful time because most of the time, she was at the shopping complex to buy her stuff.

We love this December holidays because this will be the time where we go as a family, in our family car. Though the journey took three hours, we did not find it boring because most of the time were spent chatting happily inside the car. Before we started off our journey, I checked the car engine, especially the oil change and the brake job, I got to make sure that the engine parts are functioning properly before we start off any long journey.

The mechanics in my place do not come to the house if the car is not functioning unlike the Houston auto repair. They are more responsible than any of our mechanics in my town anytime. Not only they give the best service, they can repair any car which is not functioning well, that includes Acura TL too. In this book, Outlive Your Life by Max Lucado, it speaks of us in today's community. It's not a book of just teaching but more of that, it's a book of reminding everyone of us. The question is "Are we willing to put aside our self-centeredness, and have more of God-centeredness in us?"

In order to reach out in today's community, it all starts wit us. The very first thing is us being obedient to God and let Him unshell us, for if we want to be used by Him, we need to turn to Him in surrendered hearts first. We have to learn and devote ourselves in prayer as well.

However, many things that disturbs us in order to help those in need. Sometimes we think they are unfit to be in our clicks for helping them would tarnish our image. We only help those we are comfortable with. There are going to be the outcast, hungry and sick people out there. The choice is on us. And we get to choose. Neglect or rescue? Label them or love them? We know what would Jesus do.

The phrase that strikes me in the book, "None of us can help everyone, but all of us can help someone. And when we help them, we serve Jesus. Who would want to miss a chance to do that?"

Korea Part 2: Nami Island

So this is the next post about Nami Island. This place is highly recommended for those Winter Sonata die-hard fans, people who loves peace, serenity and romance. Haha. I love this place too, during this course of winter, and hope to be back for another season. Lovely place.

Korea Part 1

So the year end holidays seasons has arrived and this time, my family and I are blessed to go to Korea. Among the places we visited were Incheon, Nami Island, Kim Chi Factory, YongPyong Ski, Seoul and other market places. Just want to share some pictures describing the place and our time there :)

It was already night when we first reached the hotel. So time to sleep and that's our room. Paradise Hotel in Incheon.

After breakfast, we proceeded to our first destination. The Kim Chi factory where we learned how to make their traditional delicacy, Kim Chi. It tastes sour, bit spicy mixed with white cabbage. Guess it doesn't suit much to M'sian taste tho. Hehe

Yea, I'm done finally! After 5 years, thank God, for bringing me through it all. I can say, its finished..Haha, I mean undergrad studies.

So what's next? Gonna stay here at home, relax, holiday with family, hang out with friends, chit chat, etc. Doing things that I would love, one of them is sleep. Haha

A BBQ Gathering

Semester is coming to a close, in another one week or so, I am going to leave this place, my second home for five years already. Gosh, time really flies, doesn’t it?
Wanting to make the most of it, my church decided to have a BBQ gathering as farewell last week. We held it in our church, just a short distance away from our college. The most important item to have for a BBQ is the fire grill set, right? Thanks to my uncle, he brought one complete set in January this year and have been keeping it since. Now is the time to take it out for usage again but to my astonishment, the BBQ fire grill set seems to be spoilt. Upon enquiring from my friends, the barbeque set needs to have proper BBQ Grill Covers to protect against rusting and exposure.
Anyway, our BBQ gathering was a great success, everyone had a good time and of course, a good feast as well. All the food were finished up fast and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. What matters now is the BBQ set, it is good in invest in a good complete set that comes with Large Grill Covers. Not only it serves well, I am sure many of us would love our food to be more hygienic in every way, so why not pay a bit more to get the best BBQ set!

Wow, indeed it's like a deserted blog. For almost one month I didn't update. Anyway would be a short and quick update from my side since I have like 10 mins before cell group.

I practically have 3 more weeks from today till my last paper on the 24th. Tomorrow would be my last lecture and last test in my undergraduate life. Never in my mind I thought that things would come to an end so fast, not that fast actually, but with happenings and events in your uni life, its consider fast.

So have to really appreciate this 3 weeks left for me in uni, spending time with friends and complete the race well and successfully. All praise and thanks to God first.

In this book Max Lucado shared the things in life that lead us to fear. Each day, fear comes into our lives in the form of insecurities through financial, safety, family and life itself. We fear failing others and failing to fulfill expectations and standards of the world. Fear starts from tiny doubt, that was fed with lack of faith that things will be better.

Max had brought and reasoned with us through this book, that fear can be confronted by faith. Max reasoned that everyday we still have God to put our faith onto. A God who will provide, forgives, loves and gives chance.

Other than that, fear should be confronted, not to evade or escape from.Like an alarm clock, in insecurities, that is the moment that we can see God's wonder in our lives.
In fact the threats in life should be faced with faith, not fear. Put your faith in God and everything will be in good hands. Towards the end, things will work. If it doesn't, then it is not the end.

So now, August..hehe..4 more months till end end of studies..However, for the start of this semester, it has been quite relaxing and slow moving..not many credit hours..hopefully this would last till the end but don't think so would be so easy for a final sem student life..haha

Just came back from Church of Praise 25th Anniversary on last Sunday night..Praise God for his greatness and faithfulness in raising, impacting and transforming lives around Ipoh..And Church of Praise, Tronoh has been here for 10 years, and could really see how God bless this church and the people too..God is good!!!

So now, looking forward for our church camp which would be held in Peaceheaven, Genting on 11th-14th September 2010. wow!!! Hope would be a nice place there, and anticipating for God to move lotsa young people to go, participate and be transformed by Him in this camp! If you want to join, tell me! Hehe..

The other day my personal computer nearly "crashed." If it really did, the first thing I feared and worried was the photos! They are very sentimental to me, my travels overseas, my friends, special occasions of my loved ones, they are all inside the hard drive. Now after this incident, I am taking some precaution. I am going to develop them into hard copies and keep in the photo albums. But being a University student, I find it a hassle to go downtown to get them developed. Thanks to my blogger friend, I know about eoe online photo printing. She told me all about this Malaysian website whereby I can just upload my photos into their site, click on the sizes and number of copies I needed, pay by credit card or banking in to their account and presto! All these photos will be delivered unto my doorstep within three days!!

As for the rates, their price is very-very reasonable, I dare say, it is even cheaper than the shops near my area. For a 4R print, it is only RM0.30 and RM0.50 for a 5R print. Isn't that cheap?

Well, this is really a blesssing... now I can develop any photos I needed without going downtown. I can just do everything here online. Isn't that GREAT? YES! Thanks to eoe Online!

Going on a highway without toll ticket

Last Tuesday, it was indeed a memorable day in my driving life. I was on the way to Taiping from UTP, therefore I had to exit to the highway through the Jelapang toll..As some of you all might have already know, the highway was reconstructed and toll booths were relocated..There was two booths at the Jelapang exit before this, and they were not functioning as far as I knew..These booths have been redundant for years...

That day, as I drove, I thought it didnt function as well..The pole was high up, so I decided to drove straight all the way hoping for the ticket booth to be at another site. However, as I passed, I heard someone yelling at me, but I just kept pressing the accelerator thinking it was someone else across the road..Feeling weird and see no ticket booths after that, I begin to feel "kan cheong"...Cham, how and what to explain when I exit at Taiping later??

So after few minutes of thinking, decided to call PLUS and confess my sins..haha..They were shocked listening to my case, and thank God, didnt fine me..I just needed to explain at Taiping booth and pay the normal price..Lesson learned..

So, you dont need a SMART Tag or Touch n Go in future..You can just GO and PASS the booth by paying the same price..saves ur time..time reduction, cost efficient!Hahahaha

Trade Show

There is an travel fair and exhibition held this weekend, just near to my house. I do not have the time to go but my friend went and told me about the cheap fares and promotion. She was very excited about it, in fact she has booked a cheap fare to Hong Kong and will be there in May this year. Out of curiosity, I asked her ow managed to find the company she bought the air tickets from. She told me that she went around the trade show flooring and chose the one with the best logo mats designs. That was what attracted her to that booth. :)

I agreed with her, we consumers look for good impressions. Decorating the booth is very important, if the layout is dull and unimpressive, it would not draw crowds to them. With the proper trade show carpet that leads to the respective booths, it is worth getting someone professional to do that job.

Besides friendly and pleasant salesperson , a logo canopy also pays a part to impress customers to their booths. Promotions on products is one thing, luring people to the booths is equally important.

Oh yes, I am going home once again, its MID SEM BREAK! Huhu..Its so fast and so fun having breaks on and off during the first seven weeks of the semester..Seven more weeks after this break and one sem is gone. Then another sem, and ya, its graduation prayerfully! Hehe..

Love to be back, not much busyness, not much assignments..Just sleep, rest, watch TV and do what you like :) Haha..Weather now is very nice, should take a nap, but can't as I have to leave for lab soon..Catch up again :)

Hey, its another update and this time is surely about the reunion and family time together.. As usual, every year, we Chinese celebrate this wonderful occasion together with our loved ones especially our family members..And during CNY, its of course, food, not just the wallet grow but also biologically as well :)

For the reunion dinner on Saturday night, we had it at the restaurant together with my uncles, aunties, and cousins..Altogether two tables, and my cousins and I were on another table, the younger ones..hahaha

Hey! Wow, its been quite some time since I update my blog..Well for this post, just want to share some of the start of my sem, but before that, just to show how my new room in UTP is like..haha..

Hey! Yeap, I am now back to Ipoh after 32 weeks of being away from home due to my internship in Kuala Lumpur and Florence..Its nice to be back home at least, but not so nice for the past few days as its the dismissal of my beloved grandpa..

My work ended on the 8th Jan, Fri and it was on the day that I received a call from mum saying that grandpa passed away as well..So, some plans of meeting friends that night have to be scrapped off and I made my way back to Ipoh seeing what can I help or do for them...

Well, things are mostly settled and done for now..what my family and myself can do is to remember and cherish him in our hearts as we live on..He was great figure in the family, passing on good values and traditions..He helps a lot in the family in many ways too..Of course, gonna miss my grandpa much...Hmmm, life is like this, I guess..But if we have Christ in us, it will make a huge difference..In Phillipians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Thanks a lot to those who sends their condolences and concerns..

Now, I have one week plus before my new semester begins and its the Final Year First Semester..Woohoo..I made it, last time was seeing seniors being final year and now its my turn, but I still feel I am new, junior and young like the other freshies..I would say my 32 weeks of internship has been a very blessed and valuable opportunity for me..Thank God! Hope the results would turn out fine :)

New Year...

New year celebration was so special..I didn't realise it was new year because on new year eve, I went to the doc, to check up my cough..has been sticking with me for days and irritating..dun worry, not H1N1 from Italy..

Then came back and sleep till 1150pm when mum woke me up to celebrate the countdown together as a family in her room..haha..i was so blur..didnt really realise its already new year and 2010..Its still like normal to me, unlike others talking bout countdowns and so on..guess, things and time past too fast that I didn't notice its new year..Maybe because I was busy with Christmas hols, packing to come back Malaysia, unpacking and settling down in KL and now new year..hehe..

Well, new year, woke up at brunch time, went for wonderful chicken rice which I never tasted for some time..its just awesome..then went shopping with family and after that tong sui..dinner, had it at home, thanks to mum for her cooking!

And now as i m blogging, its so sticky and hot..so humid..dont relli like this weather, makes you want to bath every hour..i prefer this..

Let's hope we have this in Malaysia..Happy New Year 2010!

Haha, what a title..well, I see Malaysia again..I am back to Malaysia..Its great to be back really, to meet up with family, rather than just skyping or telephone calls..then, of course, meet up with friends, and surely, the food, and durians..hahaha

On the other hand, its like not enough, hope can stay there longer, but well, things are not meant to be so long this time..God has other plans and am sure one of his plans are "Aaron, finish up your degree first"..okie,"Yes, Lord"..so ya, I am back, adapting to the sweating environment and malaysian culture..

So right after Eiffel Tower in the day, we went to another iconic place in Paris which is Arc de Triomphe.

The triumphal arch honors those who fought for France, particularly during the Napolenic Wars..On the inside and the top of the arc there are all of the names of generals and wars fought..

Myself, at the middle of the road..Trust me, the road is all very busy, jammed and all main roads leads to this Arch..The name of the main road where all the lightings were is Champs Elysees..and will post that up the next post..guess what, GE sponsored all their lightings..wahaha, so proud becoming one of their intern..not bad..

Eiffel in the Day

Okay, after La Defense, Pui and I went to Eiffel Tower..huhu..took a train from La Defense to the tower..The Eiffel Tower is the symbol of Paris and was the tallest building in the world at 300m when built in 1889 for the Exposition Universelle on the centenary of the Revolution. Now, with its aerial, it reaches 321m. So this year is their 120th anniversary, and they have light shows during the night on the tower..very very nice!
The tower has three platforms. A restaurant called the Jules Verne (extremely expensive; reservations absolutely necessary) is on the second platform. The top platform has a bar, souvenir shop, and the (recently restored) office of Gustave Eiffel...didnt manage to up the tower because the line was so so long, so many people..i think need to line up for hours..haha..it was a weekend somemore..

La Defense, Paris

Yo, so came back from the torturous or should I say wonderful 36 hours bus ride altogether to n fro from Florence to Paris..Actually, the ride to Paris from Florence is fine for me, although 18hrs, but then, seems fast because have movies on the way, see snow on the way, and sleep of cos..but on the way back, there was this big guy, sits besides me, occupied half of my space frm Paris to Milan which was around 12hrs..torturous relli tht time..haha

So, on the way there, saw some snow, in fact real ones, right in front of me because was passing thru Mont Blanc, France..here we stop at the petrol station.

The bus that i took..And at last, at 930am on Sat morning, reached Paris! Met up with Pui and we made our way to the hostel to put our stuffs, but it was raining, so I prayed, asking God to stop the rain if possible for the next 3 days as I want to enjoy Paris..according to weather forecast, rain is expected for the weekend but thanks be to God, it was superbly fine weather..

Hey! Today is friday, 4th Dec meaning another weekend is coming..cool! This weekend is the weekend that I have been most looking forward for because I practically have a 4 days break till Tuesday, 8th. And on the 8th, they will have a lot of Christmas bazaars and lighting around town, so hope its gonna be fun..

Well, for this long weekend, will be heading to France to meet up with Pui, and tour around Paris..But, the problem is will b taking an 18 hours bus ride from Florence straight up to Paris..Departing later in the afternoon, taking a half day off from office..Will reach Paris tomorrow, Sat at 845am..so pray for journey mercies ya and protection thru the time thr..

Oh ya, its already December!!Christmas month..here in europe, christmas celebration starts relli early..decorations were hung frm buildings to buildings, christmas trees were set up..now waiting for some now(hopefully)..haha..And girls always get to be in the pic more than the guys..lol

When we reached, it was around 1pm already..really a long journey, without wasting much time, we met up with Pui..Put our bags in the hostel, and off we go out to different places..

Switz..alps..

Yay people! Came back from Zurich on sunday night..Went there practically for our weekend together with Hui Xuan,Pui, Carmen and her family..All met at the middle, Zurich , Switzerland..For us in Italy, it took us practically around 8 hours train ride..long isnt't it? Well, need to sacrifice the pain if wanna enjoy..LOL

So, Zurich is Switzerland's largest city..It is ideally situated in a picturesque alpine setting..Talking about alps, its realli amazing, people..Although I didn't have the time and money to spend more on ski-ing, and playing with snows, but its great enough to have 3 hours ride in train seeing the alps along the journey..will share with you some pics which I took while on train ride..not so clear, but can see I think..hahaha

So, continue from the previous post on Rome..After Vatican City, we caught a bus to Piazza Venezia..okay, what's this place about?? Its at the central of Rome and the former embassy in the city of Republic of Venice.

Okay, then after Piazza Venezia, we came to this place called the Roman Forum..It is te heart of the city's commercial, political and social goings-on thousands tears ago..
Well, you can't visit Rome without going to the Colosseum..Nothing beats settling your eyes on this building for the very first time..It's the home to brutal battles between man and the beast, the Colosseum is an imposing building and is Ancient Rome's most symbolic.

Need to walk around 10 mins from Roman Forum to Colosseum..

We didn't enter as you need to pay 10 euro's and according to my friends, its like old structure, nothing much to see inside..unless they have some battles, then maybe would go in..But anyhow, its just fascinating if you could come and see this Rome wonder yourself..Don't Miss!!

A Day in Rome (Part 1-Vatican City)

Ciao! Bonjourno..Come stai? Haha, these are some of the very basic italian that i knew..my other two friends, Yusuf and Hui Xuan speaks much better italian than I do..really admire them for their effort to learn and practice them..haha..

Oh ya, so for last weekend, went to Rome for a day trip..Took a train ride, cheapest one which cost 32.20 euro for both ways..Departed from Florence at 645am and reached Rome Termini at 11am..There aren't many cities in world like Roma. No matter which way you turn you set your eyes on imposing monuments, dramatic statues or lavish fountains..hehe..

When we reached there, we grabbed a bus to Piazza San Pietro..Piazza San Pietro is the middle and the centre of Vatican City..Let me bring you a tour of Vatican City..

Before entering St.Peter's, the first thing that strickes you is the square and the number of detailed statues which overlook in the square.

Anyway, want to share with you some of the pics of Florence which I went around during my past weekends..Actually, last Sun(1/11), I went to Siena, but didnt have time to transfer the pics yet, but anyhow, these pics were taken on 25th Oct..Went for lunch first, then walked up to Piazzale Michelangelo, and I am sure you all know who is he right? At least you all have seen him before somewhere..hahaha

Piazzale Michelangelo was built in 1869 to plans by Giuseppe Poggi; it offers a splendid panorama of the city. But before that, while we were walking, took some random shots which I would like to share as well..

Weekend!! Shopping!

Weekend! So where did i go?? For last weekend, didnt go anywhere far, spend our time in Florence..But on Saturday, we took an hour bus ride to an outlet, called The Mall..Okie, so what outlets you have in the Mall.Its the place where you are tempted, wallets might be empty after a few hours, eyes and mouths open wide when see the price, and you wish you could have it all..hahaha..GUCCI, Salavatore Feragamo, Armani Jeans, Giorgio Armani, TOD and other Italian brands...let the pics tell u..hehe

The Mall..Its all outlet, not like the normal big complexes like KLCC, or Jusco..

To me, it looks more like a campus than a factory outlet..Dont be misled..haha

Beside me, are all the branded outlets..can see, my hands are still empty, didnt buy anything..yet??

I like the location of The Mall..because it is located on a country side place, peaceful, where you will see green, hills, winding roads along the way..peaceful..

Then, we went for our dinner..Wanted to get something different, and u know what? We found out this Chinese Shop, relli with their China style, the way they talk, serve and the way they count and charge their tax..sigh..anyway, good stuffs especially after 3 weeks not seeing rice, or pork..

We are at Piazza San Marco. Once serving as the official residence of the doge – the city’s governing council - it also was a place to show off the art and architecture of the time. As well as this it housed offices, courts and the city’s infamous prison cells.

I like this place, especially at night as well..Piazza means square..Its a big square, restaurants and bars all around..They have classic and romantic musics being played, by orchestra instruments like violin and cello..I even saw a couple havin their own sweet dance in the middle of the square..hehe

Venice!!

Ya, so last weekend (17th Oct), was in Venice..hehe.We were there together with Pui, Carmen, Lukman and 2 girls..Friends from France and Germany, took leaves and use it to enjoy themselves to the fullest around Italy..sorry ppl for not being able to bring u all around, instead of us guiding u all to Venice, instead, u ppl r the ones bringing us in Italy around in Venice..haha.But anyway, special thanks to Pui, Carmen and Lukman for planning and preparing the details includin the hostel in Venice..

So, am gonna divide this topic to few posts..LOL, too much to write and show I think..hehe.Well anyway, you all know Venice rite? Built on over 115 islands that are divided into two main sections by the aptly named Grand Canal..Venice is one of the most photographed, filmed and famous cities in the world. You won't find any traffic jams here (at least not on land) as cars and motor vehicles are banned from the city centre.

So here we are, at Venice, a pic taken in front of the beautiful bridge near the port..

Weekend updates..Praise God!

So, for the last weekend, we went to Venice..and it was awesome, great place to go..a good suggestion for those who planning for their honeymoon..this time, not only 3 of us, but Pui (frm France), Carmen, Lukman and ther 2 friends from Germany joined us as well..So it was quite a big group, 8 of us going together, enjoying and having fun during the weekend..Sorry, have not transferred the pics, therefore will upload another post bout venice soon..

Ya, we bump in and stayed a night at the camping site, a budget hostel because it was too late for us to catch the train back..Reached Florence on Sunday evening around 4pm..When came back to room, started to unpack, bath and wash clothes..then the clock shows 6pm..reminded me of church, since I got the address, and had never visit before this, due to travelling..So, i got my bible, put into the backpack, get the Florence map and slowly head to Florence Gospel Fellowship International, Via de' Benci n° 9..Didn't been to this church before, just had a rough info from the website..thought of just going there to check whether is the church there based on website and blog

Ya, so, reached church around 615pm, thought it had already started, it would be a bit disturbing if i enter late, but then when i reached there, the door was closed.It's like those european style, huge and tall doors..I didn't dare to push it, worried it interrupts, and then came a woman (pastor's wife) greeted and welcomed me..I was pretty encouraged and felt so welcomed to the church..not that many people, but mostly are students..around 20 of us..students from UK, US, Zimbabwe...so was cool for me, for being able to join them in church and fellowship..

Anyway, I want to praise God for leading me, guiding me to this church, to this body of Christ where I have found here in Florence..when I knew I was coming to Florence, not only my friends but I asked myself whether or not, I will be able to find Christian fellowship here..and thank God, now have found one..He found me! He is so BIG, so good, that he is everywhere..You will feel home, because you belong to Him :) In the church, we had praise and worship (the songs are familiar to me and in english), testimonial sharings from bro n sis, and encouraging msg from Pastor's wife..Pastor led the praise and worship session..then, after service which ends around 830pm, we head up to a room for fellowship, chatting and some light food n tea..was awesome, it made my day fulfilled because of His presence here with me :) Praise God!

Hey, today's weather is extreme strange..It's already 7degrees celcius in Florence, Italy although its only October..My colleagues were saying, this temperature only occurs when winter comes..Today is different, colder than normal, hands were stiff, like numb..if you take it out from your pockets, you can feel it..When we talk, there is vapor/steam (i dont know what we call that)..but for me is so cool!Haha, for the first time..like those in korean movies..LOL

Yo! So, last saturday (10 Oct), was another weekend for us in Florence..When weekend comes, definitely it will be going somewhere to tour and visit rite? So this time, we went to Pisa..It wasn't a plan before this, the idea just came on Friday itself, and ya, so we decided on the spot to go the next day..

Ticket to Pisa cost us around 6.50 euro and its one hour journey by train..

At the streets in Pisa..it was raining when we arrived..We thought we couldn't make it to Pisa tower, but thank God, he stopped the rain while we were there..

It was taken on one of the bridges linking Pisa Central Station to Pisa tower..we walked there and the journey took us 30minutes

Basically, the whole place is like a enclosed area, where there are few structures in there..They have the Catthedrale, Battistero, Torre, Camposanto Monumentale, Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, Museo delle Sinopie, Mura medievali.

Ya, many people have asked, how is my room like..its a simple room, with a living hall, small kitchen, mini tv, a toilet and a room with 2 single beds..Not to boast ya, just wanna share the pics :)

As you can see, zoom to the kitchen..hehe..Do not be misled, am not cooking, just that I never put back the utensils to the cupboard after washing..

Ponte Vecchio...

Ponte Vecchio, am sure some of you would know this because this would be one of the highlight in Florence as well..I love this place, romantic, and at the same time with the chilly weather..Ponte Vecchio means an old bridge, a Medieval bridge over the Arno River in Florence, Italy..

Initially, butchers occupy the shops, however present tenants are jewelers and souvenirs people...A lot of gold sold on the bridge here..hehe.looks shiny everytime u walk past..We came here twice so far..beautiful, really..will share the night view and day view..very sorry if pics are unclear, because of not having good camera skills, will try it again this weekend..haha

Hey ppl!

Praise God, have already reached Italy safely on 730am (2 Oct)..Had a very very long journey..12 hours..fuhhh...Now in office, the only time I get to online because internet is not provided in the room. Well, I am in Florence now..very sorry for not updating, but this is what I would like to share with you all..Let the pics do the talking..Haha

Our journey started at 110am, malaysian time, so was very dark, nothing much to see..and when woke up, its already morning, means reaching Rome d..Woohoo..Like this pic, the sunrise

Then, we took TrenItalia from the airport to Rome Termini (like KL sentral). The journey was around 40mins and here we are, Roma. Outside the train station..Many cars, many people, many shops..Once reached, you will see Pizza d..haha

In front of Santa Maria Maggiore. The Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore is the largest church in Rome to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Inside the church. A mass is going on but many visitors inside too..The structure, carvings, is beautiful..
Eurostar train, a very comfortable train..took this train from Roma Termini to Firenze Santa Maaria Novella station (Florence) in just 1 hour 30mins..Cost us 42 euro's per person.

For the first night, we went couldnt find any place for dinner as it was around 9pm when we went out..Shops here close early, so we came to this bar to grab some bacon and cheese bread..Haha..5 euro's for two

So blessed..Each of us were given our own room..In the room it has another room for beds, a small kitchen, a toilet and a living hall with TV..So I got 2 beds, sleep like a King..Haha..Anyone wanna come tumpang??

Well, I guess I have to trust God and put my faith in Him..Thank Him for this divine opportunity and ya, pack my bags, get things ready and go.."Here I am, send me"

God, church and my CG :)

Firstly, wanna thank God for divine appointment for me to join meet this group of young, great, & happening CG members in DUMC..When I came to KL last June for my internship, I was praying that God will lead me to a church and of course a CG too..Well, before this, I have been to this church as my uncle has brought me here..When I came to KL, God had provide the LRT and ease my transportation, and later a friend (Josiah) to fetch me without fail every sunday morning for church and friday night for CG..Thanks bro!

Although it has only been 4 months since I came to this church, this church has blessed me in many ways from learning and receiving his words about community transformation, bible reading plan and journalling to sharing bout his words in CG and even fellowships and birthday celebrations too..Really feel thankful and grateful for this BIG God in my life..Thank you Jesus!

To my CG members (Joshua, Thaddeus, Hsien Yew, Keat Meng, Angeline, Sherrina, Jovy, Joanna, Jiunn Li, Evelyn, Josiah and Suzen), thanks a lot for your warmth welcome for me to join and belong to the CG..Personally, want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you all for your encouragement, prayer and even the fellowships we had at mamaks after CG...Can say that this is one of the very best CG I had joined and felt that sense of belonging as a family of Christ..Ya, so lets keep in touch, contact, sms, email or even FB after this.. Yeap!! I am heading back home which is in Ipoh tomorrow early morning..I am sure, there will be pretty much jam..Well, God, give me patience for the journey and also good rest for tonight...

Can't wait to be back home with family, relatives and of coz, the great food there ya..Though its only 4 days, but am sure gonna be fulfilled rite, mum? Hehe..

Weekend

Last weekend, Saturday, 5/9, was a day of rest for me..Hehe..Because before this, my Saturdays have been quite occupied with shopping and outings..So, that day, woke up at 1pm!!! So cool...Then bath and get change, went down for lunch...That evening, a friend of mine from Ipoh, Yong Kim came to my place, we had some chat and went to PJ Seksyen 17 for dinner together with Billy, Dody, Phoon, Hui Xuan and Kee Siong..Was hawker streets there and they serve different varities of food..

Well, after that dinner, we were still feeling hungry and we started asking "where next?"..Then I suggested Bro John burger in Uptown Damansara Utama..Seriously, the burgers were good man! Better than Ramly's..Recommended by CG members..went there once, and was superb..so this time went back again..Reasonable price too!

Guess what, time was around 10pm, and we were thirsty...Ok, where next??Haha..They suggested ss2 murni..Alright, here we go to Murni's and have our special drinks there such as Mango Special and we ordered Roti Mozzarella Cheese Bacon Nan..Thats awesome! My friends were saying, 3 meals per night, from dinner till supper..Haha!!

On Sunday morning, went to church...Was a fruitful day in church, going together with Kee Siong and Hui Xuan..Glad to see them able to come along..Hope to see them for the coming Sunday's too..There is this one thing Pastor Chris was saying at the end, 1. God is good 2. God is in control 3. God will bring it to pass..so it has been with me, reminding me, encouraging me for the week and ahead too, that in everything we trust Him!

In the afternoon, after church and lunch, went to One Utama to watch Murderer..The show is ok, not too bad and funny too...But i think Orphan is still better..u all who are reading agree with me?? For that evening, had 2 places for dinner...Again, 2 meals for dinner, so how to diet..Sad and pathetic..But thank God in the end, for the glorious food, good health that he has blessed us with that enable us to enjoy his blessings..Great week ahead!

After a good night rest in the hotel, we woke up the next day, and its already time for lunch..Haha..Imagine how long I sleep..We headed to New World Food Court for our "brunch"..Ordered quite a number different varieties of food to be shared..

Haha..Then, we went to Queensbay Mall for some jalan-jalan and in the evening, went to see a 2nd hand car dealer..Time pass very fast and it was time for dinner already..For dinner, we were taken to Kimberley Street..It's a hawker street there, car passing along a narrow road, foods being set up and served by the side of the road..I wonder how polluted the food are, but anyway, that is what that gave the additional "chun" taste to the food rite?

That's all for the day..Our stomaches were very full, dont feel like eating anymore for the day...Haha..Went back to the hotel to rest and took a short nap because too tired and also of the food..Anyhow, woke up around 10pm and here we go for supper again outside the hotel..

Everytime when we are in Penang, its all about eating, walking and eating again..Next time should go to the pool and swim first before another round..Haha..Hope to go again, and definitely for its delicious and glorious food!

So, here comes the pictures for the jalan-jalan cari makan in Penang..When we first arrived in Penang, it was around 12pm, so I suggested of eating Laksa and Cendol at Penang Road..These are the ones you should not miss when comes to this road..Here we go

So, after lunch, we adjourned back to the hotel to check in and rest...Then, at 5pm, we felt hungry already and our stomachs are making noises..then I suggested to go Chili's for dinner since Ipoh don't have it..And there we left for Chili's in Gurney Plaza

Then, what was the meal in Chili's..she said its pre-dinner..No comments after that =.= Haha..Well, we moved on to Free School Garden for our dinner..These are what my mum ordered...

Hi! Went to penang last weekend with family and Gabriel because of the long weekend holidays and also to send my brother, Andy back to his college..We departed on Saturday morning and just reached back on Monday yesterday..

Well, will upload more pictures about it, and I can roughly summarize that it's all about food and glorious food..Haha..So for the food lovers out there, don't miss the chance of stopping in Penang for some great delicacies..

Genting Outing

Yay! Had a great and wonderful trip to Genting last weekend (8/8) with some uni friends in KL...It has been quite a while since I last went there..I still remembered, my last trip to Genting was with another group of great young people which is my school band, MMB..That time, I was only form 3, and we were invited there for 3 days performance..Was cool that time! Well, this time was also superb, thanks to another crazy yet great group of friends..One of the very good moments to cherish is that we ran from Pasar Seni LRT station to Pudu Bus station in 5mins..Great isn't it?Haha..Suppose to be early, but we are "too" punctual..The whole bus was waiting for 8 of us..Haha..Even before go Genting also sweat already.

We reached Genting around 9am..Started to take pictures at random places..Time was so precious, that Hui Xuan, Kee Siong, Wei Kiat, Wen Sher and me started buying theme park tickets whereas Winnie, Dody and Thean Jern went to the casino..Ok, let the pictures tell you the story...

Well, another week has passed again, and I am so thankful to God for it..For this week,has been spending a lot of time till late night with most of it spent on makan..among them are Chili's and also durian buffet (eat all you can)..Had good time of fellowship with friends and chit chatting through the night..It was worth it after all.. :)

Yesterday night (friday), went to church for a production called "The Executioner's Song". The theme for this production is about choices we have in life and the choices we can take. It's true also as pastor said, the choice we make can be "ok or not ok". I realised that in every situation we face, there is a decision and choice to be made. A meaningful one for yesterday.

So, today is saturday..As my weekdays has been packed and occuped with work and activities, so I decided to take a rest at home today..It nice to slow down after a week of busyness and time to clean up the house, clothes and others too..And ya, got my exam results this morning..Faced a drop this semester but then, thank God and praise Him for his blessings and guidance last semester..Without great God, there would not be great results too..

So roughly this is it for this week..Thank you! :)

My 5th week

Wow! 5 weeks have passed since I came KL for my internship..so fast man! Firstly, thank God for everything have been fine and well planned by Him..work is fine, nice office environment, enjoying bit and pieces of my work..

Then, thanks to my friends who initiated the jog this week at KLCC park..seriously,that's a very good place to exercise after a day of work..Nice view, scenery and one great thing is that you will have a good night rest after the jog..hehe..I will upload the pictures soon..Hehe..

On friday night, started joining the campus youth zone CG in DUMC. Thanks to Josiah who invited and Joshua (cg leader) who welcomed us..It was good praising Him together (reminds me of the CG's and prayer meetings in UTP), wonderful fellowship, bible study, praying for one another, and blessed time after a week of work..

For today(sat), went out to meet up with Jason and Wai Hin..It has been 1 year since I last saw and met with them..Thank God for this time to catch up and update one another on hows things been..Also, we went to Ampang for its famous Yong Tau Foo..too bad, never took pictures but personally, will recommend you all to try there especially those who likes Yong Tau Foo..

So, tomorrow morning will be going to church again and tonight shall have good rest..Thank God! Take care people :)

Hey people!

Wanna share and update my blog because just realized didn't update it for quite some time already..Haha..Anyway,just finished my 3rd week of internship, and for this week, was kind of relaxing because products overview class has finished..Oh yea, we were given laptops yesterday and now, we can log on to the internet, and even get more information already..hopefully, will not chat more than do work..hahaha..will update the picture of my laptop next post :)

Then for the weekend, on friday night, had dinner with friends at wangsa maju here and then Gabriel had an idea of going to Bintang Walk as he wants to check out the hotel rates for his family who is coming on the other day. While walking and taking photos, we suddenly met up with this guy

For those who read my blog, as u all know last friday, my intern mates and I bought a puzzle..In less than 6 days, we completed it..Hehe..Thanks to Hui Xuan, Alia and Yusuf who contributed the most to the success of this puzzle..I just add the wrong pieces to it and gave them moral support..Haha..Well Done people!

My Weekend

Hi!

Just want to share and update you people about my weekends..Well, mainly its about food, food and glorious food..haha..On friday night, Gabriel and I went to San Fransisco Steakhouse in Suria KLCC because want to try something new and have fellowship since he is going back to uni soon..Initially, wanted to go to Chili's but then have to wait for 40minutes, so we left cos cant tahan..too hungry already..

He ordered the sizzling tornedos which is a steak, juicy one...hehe
Whereas I ordered the combo fajitas which has grilled beef and chicken..this is it..Eaten together with cheese and pancake layers..

The next day, on Saturday, went out with friends to this place near Dang Wangi for their famous pan mee..Its really good stuff for those who love spicy stuffs..The pan mee is served with homemade dry chilis..It really drives and makes u sweat while eating..hehe

Puzzle Day..

Hi again! Yo!

I am sure you all will be wondering what it means by "Puzzle Day"...Well, office is as usual. Although some companies have their holidays today due to Yang di-Pertuan Agong's birthday tomorrow, my company will have its holiday on Monday. So, this morning, we had class with our engineer as usual, and before we left for lunch, he told us that, afternoon class will be cancel as there is a meeting for him.

So, my intern mates and I went out for lunch at Public Bank there, and after that, Yusuf went for his Friday prayer. Then, Alia, Hui Xuan and I went to the Petronas Twin Towers souvenir shop to kill time..And as a result of that visit, we ended up buying this..

Since our afternoon is not occupied and we wanted to stay in the office, we did our puzzle. Actually this puzzle has its purpose..We wanted to give it to GE at the end of out internship here as a token of appreciation. So four of us did it secretly in the office and after half an hour, we completed the frame..tadaa..

My Internship

Hi there!

For few days, didn't update my blog..felt lazy already even though i just started it..hehe..that's bad rite? But anyway, this blog is to share about my first few days of work in GE..

Well, to start off with, GE is located at Level 50, Tower 2, Petronas Twin Towers..So for "kampung boy" like me=LAT, its my second time to the tower on last Sunday night..My first time was not long ago, it was just last week where I came with Hui Xuan, Alia, Yusuf (intern mates) together with Mr. Affendy to meet GE managers.

Well, on the first day of work, was pretty excited as its the first time..I am sure some of my intern mates also feel the same. Saw a lot of utpians in KLCC, as if UTP the second. Went up to the office before 9am, and then started off with briefing and sharing about company's overview and structure. Then, it was time for lunch. Since Suria is in Petronas Twin Towers itself, after lunch, usually will go for window shopping..For the past few days, there had a Lego exhibition in Suria, so took a few pictures. Leaving for KL...

Hi people!

As my blog title for today says, I will be leaving for KL tomorrow morning..I am going to KL for my internship and will be attached with GE (General Electric) Oil and Gas company in Petronas Twin Towers..So, if you happen to be in KLCC, do give me a call and drop by. My internship will start from 1st June 2009, this Monday till 8th Jan 2010 next year..so it will be roughly 8 months, long time huh...Fuhhhhh..

Anyway, at this moment of time, as I will be leaving, there are mix feelings deep in me. Firstly, will be missing my family although leaving home is not the first time..Love to be at home..Homely person maybe..Hehe..But well, this time will be to KL and not Tronoh anymore..No more driving pass places like Falim, Pusing, Batu Gajah for some time..will miss the people in COP, UTP & Tronoh.. May God bless and guide you my friends there.Really pray and hope that you all in COP will grow and stay united as one body and reach out to the ones in UTP.

Secondly, I am excited and on the other hand, don't really know what to expect during this period of internship such as what work will I be doing, whom are the people I will meet and work with, the environment and place there..However, despite all the uncertainties, I am sure God already had His magnificent plan for me..Will just follow Him all the way through and I am very thankful to Him..Thank you God for all you've done.

Hey people!

Wow, this is my first time starting a blog..Never thought that I would start one..Well, at last, has started one due to some factors, mainly some encouragement from mum and friends..I would say mum pressure rather than peer pressure...hahaha..I am sure now, u know, how updated my mum is. :)
